Q. How can I learn more about Ergonomics?

A. There is some great information about Ergonomics including some interesting articles located on our Ergonomics Page.  


Q.Can I test a chair out before I decide to buy it?

A. Harris WorkSystems does have a Demo Program available for chairs and certain other ergo items providing you live in the Portland Metro and Salem areas.  For specific details please contact one of our Sales Representatives.


Q.Do you have a showroom where I can see the various products you sell?

A. Yes we do.  Our showroom is located in Beaverton, Oregon.  We recommend you make an appointment so there is someone available that can show you around and answer any questions you may have. 


 Q.How long will it take for my chair to be delivered?

A. Standard production time for chairs is about 10 business days from the date we place the order plus an additional week for shipping and scheduling of delivery.  Custom fabrics may take longer.  Some chair models and fabrics are available on a 48-Hour QuickShip program.  Please contact one of our Customer Service Representatives for additional information or to check the status of your order.  


 Q.How long will it take for my furniture to be delivered?

A. Panel systems and furniture can take between 2-6 weeks depending on the factory and the types of products you are ordering.  Please contact one of our Customer Service Representatives for additional information or to check the status of your order. 


Q.Who do I contact to check the status of an order?

A. If you would like to check the status of an order, please contact one of our Customer Service Representatives anytime during normal business hours.  


Q.Do you deliver?

A. Yes we do.  Please see our delivery information for details. 


Q. Will you buy or dispose of our old office furniture?

A.  No, but we might have some resources that will accept gently used office furniture.  Contact Us and we will direct you to a representative that will gladly help you.


Q. Do you have a design service to help me make decisions on fabric choices and other asthetic decisions?

A.   Yes, we have a full time Design Department that will gladly assist you with fabrics, laminates and other asthetic decisions.  Contact Us and ask to speak with our Interior Design/Space Planning Representative. 


 Q. We need help reconfiguring our current office space.  Can you help with that?

A.   Yes, we have a full time Space Planner on staff that can review your current office set up and help reconfigure it to your specifications.  Contact Us and ask to speak with our Interior Design/Space Planning Representative.


Q. Who do I contact about repairs on broken or damaged furniture?

A. Contact Us and we will gladly help you with the repair process.  You can also download our Warranty/Chair Repair Form (for chair repairs only) and email it to kristenm@harrisworksystems.com or fax it to 503.644.7112. 


Q.Can I speak to someone about my questions and concerns?

A. Yes you can.  Feel free to contact one of our Customer Service Representatives anytime during normal business hours, 7:30am-5:00pm PT. 


 Q.How do I measure my lumbar?

Q. I'd like to learn more about a chair with a tail bone (coccyx) cut out.

A. A chair with a coccyx cut out section eases the pressure and helps alleviate pain associated with coccyx injuries.  Ask us about which of our manufacturers have seat options available with a tailbone cut out. 


Q. I'd like to learn more about a chair with a head rest.  

A. The contoured shape of a neckroll supports the upper spinal cervical curve of the neck and the head because headaches and neck strain can result from a lack of neck support.  If your daily seated tasks allow for a reclined posture (e.g. teleconferencing, interviewing, a powernap or just a moment to relax) an ergonomically correct neckrool or headrest can deliver a high level of comfort.
